Can somebody find me on Naven by searching my name?
No. Naven has no member directory. Name matching only searches conversations you are already part of, and reaching somebody new requires their exact email address or exact username.
This is the deliberate opposite of how most social platforms work, and it costs Naven growth — a directory is how a service gets people to find their friends, and removing it means every connection has to come from outside.
What it buys is that a stranger has no path to you. There is no list to browse, no fuzzy search to guess at, and no way to enumerate accounts.
Usernames match exactly and only exactly, so a partial guess returns nothing rather than a list of near misses.
