What Naven can and cannot say
Naven is a small, independent product. Nothing on this page is a promise, a warranty or a guarantee. What a custom version includes, what it costs and when it is ready are agreed in writing, organization by organization, and nothing is included until that agreement is signed. Naven holds no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification today. The public Naven app screens messages, so it is not end-to-end encrypted; a custom version can be, and the trade-off is explained before you choose. Screening is automated and makes mistakes. The Terms apply to everything else.
Questions organizations ask
Is Naven free for startups?
Yes. The Naven app is free for everybody, with no per-seat charge. A custom version for your company is quoted separately if you want one.
Can Naven replace Slack for a small team?
For chat, channels and calls, yes. Slack has thousands of ready-made integrations and a certified security programme that Naven does not; if you depend on those, Slack is the better fit.
Can we get end-to-end encryption?
Not in the public app, which screens messages. A custom version can include end-to-end encryption for the conversations you choose.
Can Naven build a feature we need?
Often, yes. Tell us what you need; features for a custom version are scoped and agreed in writing.
