What a custom version can include

A private workspace that only your people can join, organized into departments, teams, classes or sites.
Your identity — your organization’s name, logo and colours, on your own subdomain.
Sign-in your way — your email domain, Google or Microsoft accounts, or single sign-on (SAML or OpenID Connect) and automatic account provisioning, built on request.
Admin controls — add and remove members, set roles, pause an account, run announcements, and export what your policies require.
Security options — end-to-end encryption for the conversations you choose, retention periods you set, audit logs, and where your data is kept, discussed and agreed per organization.
Screening you control — stricter rules for students, lighter or none for adult staff, and categories tuned to your policies.
Integrations — email, calendars, webhooks, your learning platform, your CRM or helpdesk, or an API for your own systems.
Features built for you — if your organization needs something Naven does not do yet, tell us. Building it is often the start of the conversation, not the end.

Screening or encryption: your choice

The public Naven app screens every message before delivery, which is why it is not end-to-end encrypted: a screen cannot read an encrypted message. A custom version can place that line where your organization needs it — screening for student conversations and end-to-end encryption for leadership, HR or legal, for example. We explain what each choice means before you make it.

What Naven can and cannot say

Naven is a small, independent product. Nothing on this page is a promise, a warranty or a guarantee. What a custom version includes, what it costs and when it is ready are agreed in writing, organization by organization, and nothing is included until that agreement is signed. Naven holds no SOC 2, ISO 27001 or HIPAA certification today. The public Naven app screens messages, so it is not end-to-end encrypted; a custom version can be, and the trade-off is explained before you choose. Screening is automated and makes mistakes. The Terms apply to everything else.

How long does a custom version take?

It depends on the scope. A branded workspace with sign-in is quicker than new integrations. The timeline is written into the proposal; nothing is committed before that.

Who owns our data in a custom version?

Your organization. Naven processes it on your instructions under a written agreement, and deletes it when you ask.

Is a custom version expensive?

It is quoted per organization, not per seat, and is designed to be affordable for schools, nonprofits and startups as well as large organizations.
