Can you use Naven for work?
For a small team, yes — channels, direct messages and calls cover most of it. For an organisation that needs single sign-on, audit logs, retention policies or a compliance certification, no; Slack and Teams exist for that.
Naven has no SSO, no SCIM provisioning, no admin console and no third-party compliance audit. Anybody whose procurement process asks for those should not be evaluating it yet, and the site says so rather than implying otherwise.
What it does suit is a small group that wants something that works in a browser on mixed devices without an IT project.
It also does not display certifications it does not hold, which is worth checking for in any tool under evaluation.
