Can two people share one messaging account?
Technically often yes, and it is a bad idea. Shared accounts break every safety control that depends on knowing who did something — blocking, reporting, age protections and account recovery all assume one person.
The common case is a parent and a young child sharing, usually with good intentions. The cost is that the child's protections are set by the adult's age band, and that anything the child receives arrives without the screening appropriate to them.
The better arrangement is a separate account with a guardian relationship, which gives the protections without the surveillance.
On Naven an under-18 account is asked for a guardian, and the guardian is told nothing about the content of conversations.
