How to use Naven on a school Chromebook

A managed Chromebook usually blocks installs and app stores. Naven has neither, which is most of why it works on one.

Step by step

Open navenapp.com in the browser

That is the whole installation. There is no extension and no app to add.
Sign in with the school email address

Naven emails a six-digit code. No phone number is involved, which matters on a device with no SIM.
Add it to the shelf if you want

Chrome's install option pins it like an app. This is optional and changes nothing about how it works.

Some school networks filter by domain rather than by app, and a filter can block navenapp.com like any other site. That is the network administrator's decision and there is no way around it from inside Naven — nor should there be.
Everything is screened before it sends, which is usually the thing a school is actually asking about.
Sign out at the end on a shared device.

Yes, as long as the network allows navenapp.com. There is nothing to install, so install restrictions do not apply.
