A team chat where the fixture is still findable on Friday
A fixture posted on Monday is unreadable by Thursday in a normal group chat. An event with going, maybe and no answers the question the coach is actually asking.
Coaches and captains of amateur teams organising fixtures, lifts and kit across parents and players.
What it looks like in Naven: a screenshot of the app.
How it is usually set up
An event with replies for each fixture, a checklist for kit, and a channel that does not bury either under chat.
What Naven does not claim
Naven promises no security and no moderation. Messages are screened before they send
against twelve published categories, by automated software — it misses things,
and it is weaker in languages other than English. Calls are not screened at all. Naven is
not end-to-end encrypted, which is what makes screening possible; anyone whose first
requirement is end-to-end encryption should use Signal.
What it costs
Nothing. Naven is free, with no advertising, no paid tier and no data sale.
