California's consumer privacy law.
It gives California residents rights to know what is collected, to delete it, and to opt out of its sale, and requires a clear way to exercise them. Later amendments extended it further.
The "sale" definition is broad enough to cover a good deal of ordinary ad-tech data sharing, which is the point.
Where Naven stands
Naven sells no data, which makes most of the opt-out machinery unnecessary. It honours Global Privacy Control, which is the automated version of the opt-out.
