Managed device
A phone or laptop an organisation controls, usually a school's or an employer's.
Management software can forbid installing anything, restrict which sites are reachable, and enforce settings the user cannot change. School Chromebooks are the common example, and they are the reason a great many students cannot use the messenger everybody else uses.
A web app sidesteps the install restriction but not the network filter: a blocked domain is blocked whatever it serves.
Where Naven stands
Naven works on a managed device because there is nothing to install. If the network blocks the domain, that is the administrator's decision and Naven offers no way around it.
