The problem
Nothing can be installed on a managed device, most messengers are blocked outright, and the ones that are not have no meaningful safety story.
How Naven handles it
- Runs entirely in the browser, so there is nothing to install and nothing for device management to approve.
- Pre-send screening against a published policy, plus age bands with a server-enforced guardian gate for under-13 accounts.
- No public directory and no algorithmic feed, so there is no discovery surface pointing students at strangers.
- Channels give a class or club a space without running a server.
