Parental consent
A parent's permission for a child's account.
Required by law below certain ages in several jurisdictions, and genuinely difficult to obtain verifiably — the usual methods are an email confirmation, a small card charge, or a signed form. Each excludes somebody.
The harder design question is what the parent gets afterwards: visibility into a child's conversations protects them from strangers and exposes them to a parent they may need privacy from.
Where Naven stands
Naven asks for a guardian for under-18 accounts and tells the parent nothing about the content of conversations. Screening protects the child; surveillance is not the mechanism.
