WCAG
The international standard for web accessibility.
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines organise requirements under four principles: perceivable, operable, understandable, robust. Conformance is graded A, AA and AAA, and AA is what most laws and procurement rules point at.
Much of AA is unglamorous and checkable: contrast ratios, focus visibility, labels, keyboard access, no keyboard traps.
